We offer affordable rates for lab space and equipment rental to students, staff and non-UTM members. The rates listed below are intended to help guide you in your planning. The fees are evaluated periodically and are subjected to changes:

Mathematics computer lab reservation requests will need to be submitted by filling in the form below. The completed form should be emailed to fauzi_arif@utm.my (cc to zarina_md@utm.my) or by handing in personally to any of the Mathematics Lab Staff (at Bilik Staf Teknikal, C22-Level 3) for processing and approval.

  Softwares

  Mathematical software packages exclusively installed at our labs include: 

• Simul8, Facet, COMSOL Multiphysics Modelling Software, WinEdt and PcTeX for LaTeX (Department License)
  
• Visual C++, Matlab, Mathematica, SPSS (UTM License)
  
• R software (Freeware)
  Other useful packages include Acrobat Reader, FireFox, Microsoft Office.
  Most of these softwares are downloadable from UTM cyberubp via the University’s network. (ACID login required).
