Potential research projects for PSM include topics in multivariate statistical methods eg. simulation studies, applications to hydrological and biological data. Previous PSM studies that students have undertaken involved:
- Working on a real dataset provided by our collaborating hydrologists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
- Mini investigative projects which are part of a larger collaborative postgraduate projects.
- Applying existing statistical methods to real-problem motivated datasets.
