Applied Algebra and Analysis Group (AAAG), Frontier Materials Research Alliance, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru in collaboration with Algebra Research Group, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia and UTM International, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru, are pleased to announce that we are organizing a one-day UTM-ITB Algebra Seminar on Sunday, 15 May 2016 at T05, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru, Johor.<\/p>\n

The aim of this seminar is to exchange research ideas amongst the algebraists especially from the countries of Malaysia \u00a0and Indonesia. In addition, selected researchers (academic staff\/postgraduate students) from UTM and ITB in the subject of algebra will present their latest research works and encourage interested students to progress and widen their knowledge in algebra.<\/p>\n

The main objectives of this seminar are to: –
\n\uf076 gather prominent researchers in the field of algebra.
\n\uf076 be the platform of information on the latest research in algebra.
\n\uf076 foster interest and motivation of pure mathematics in general and algebra in particular.<\/p>\n

Registration fee for this algebra seminar are:
\n\uf076 AAAG member : RM50 or
\n\uf076 Non AAAG members: RM100 (staff) & RM80 (student)
\nper person
\n(which covers all meals, certificate of participation and seminar materials)<\/p>\n
