Our alumnus Dr. Ummirul Mukminin Kahar, Scientist from Malaysia Genome Institute, National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia recently came out with a video explaining on the use and importance of vaccine in conjunction with the Covid-19 pandemic era and surging numbers of cases in Malaysia. Dr. Ummirul pursued all his tertiary education at UTM beginning with BSc (Industrial Biology); 2006-2009: MSc (Bioscience), 2010-2012 and finally graduated with a Ph.D (Bioscience) in 2018. The department is indeed very proud to have produced many impactful graduates including Dr. Ummirul.<\/p>\n
