A hands on session on Basic Molecular Biology Techniques for Master of Science (Forensic) students was conducted on June 28, 2022. The session was lead by Dr. Nurriza and Dr. Siti Halimah and assisted by En. Yusnizam and postgraduate students from the Department of Biosciences; Fikran Aranda Fahrudin, Nur Fatin Najihah, and Layth Ahmed Ali. Among the techniques that were demonstrated to the students were DNA extraction, DNA quantification, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique and agarose gel electrophoresis. The students were all delighted as they got the opportunity to apply what they had learned theoretically during the hands-on session.<\/p>\n
