Professor Dr. Fahrul Zaman Huyop was invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the 15th PSBMB Scientific Meeting (April 14\u201317) at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. His talk, based on collaborative research with Dr. Yilmaz Kaya (T\u00fcrkiye) and supported by T\u00dcB\u0130TAK, focused on metagenomic studies of microbial dehalogenases in hypersaline environments and their applications in bioremediation and biotechnology. The conference brought together over 150 participants from multiple countries and emphasized international scientific collaboration. Professor Fahrul also visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) and engaged in discussions with prominent scientists to explore future research partnerships between Malaysia and Pakistan.
