Department of Biosceinces, Faculty of Science is honoured to participate in hosting of distinguished guests from Henan Institute of Science and Technology (HIST), China on 22 October 2025. The delegation included:<\/div>\n

Prof. Dr. Chai Lei, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence<\/div>\n
Miss Fong Xia, Director of the International Office<\/div>\n

This visit marks a significant milestone in the ongoing research and academic collaboration between HIST and UTM. Several postgraduate students from China have enrolled directly into UTM\u2019s MPhil and PhD programs, including in the Faculty of Science, with academic collaboration and co-supervision involving researchers from HIST. These students are co- supervised by researchers from both institutions, fostering strong academic ties and joint research efforts.<\/div>\n

Currently, the Faculty of Science hosts four postgraduate students under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Goh Kian Mau of Biosciences Department of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> and renowned Prof. Dr. Zhang Shoutao. The Faculty warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the continued partnership and shared commitment to academic excellence between HIST and UTM.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
