Bhd., concluded with resounding success, equipping participants with essential skills in cancer cell culture and functional assays.<\/p>\n<p>Held on <strong>26\u201327 November 2025<\/strong> at the <strong>Genetic Engineering Laboratory, Building T02, Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, UTM<\/strong>, the workshop attracted strong participation and provided a comprehensive introduction to cell culture techniques.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 1<\/strong> focused on core laboratory skills, including aseptic technique, media preparation, cell revival, harvesting, counting, seeding, freezing, and an overview of current cancer assay applications. Expert facilitators \u2014 <strong>Dr. Nurzila Ab Latif, Dr. Praseetha Prabhakaran, Dr. Saleha Shahar, and Dr. Wan Fatin Amira<\/strong> \u2014 delivered informative and practical sessions that built participants\u2019 confidence in handling cell cultures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2<\/strong> featured engaging hands-on demonstrations, including live <strong>CCK-8 and ROS assays<\/strong>, practical cell plating exercises, and guided data analysis led by <strong>Dr. Nur Syahirah Che Razali<\/strong> from Biotek Abadi Sdn. Bhd. These sessions provided participants with direct exposure to functional assessment techniques in cancer research.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was designed especially for beginners, offering a rare opportunity to <strong>gain practical lab experience, enhance research skills, and take the first step toward mastering functional cell assessment<\/strong>.
