On 10 November 2025, the Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shafinaz Shahir, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, led a visit to Biocon Malaysia\u2014Asia\u2019s largest integrated insulin manufacturing and research facility\u2014where the team from Department of Biosciences gained valuable insights into world-class biopharmaceutical operations and reconnected with UTM alumni now thriving at Biocon. The visit highlighted the strong science-industry partnership, showcased the real-world impact of UTM\u2019s academic foundation, and reinforced future collaboration opportunities to nurture the next generation of biotechnology and pharmaceutical professionals.<\/p>\n
