Program ini dianjurkan khusus untuk pelajar tahun akhir Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains (Biologi) dengan Kepujian, kumpulan 4SSCGH yang mengikuti kursus SSCG4803 Structural Biology. Seramai 20 orang pelajar telah menghadiri webinar ini. Program ini dikendalikan oleh Dr. Haryati Jamaluddin selaku moderator dan pensyarah kursus SSCG4803.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Webinar ini menampilkan alumni Jabatan Biosains, Dr. Nor Asyikin Che Husain sebagai penceramah jemputan. Beliau telah berkongsi pengalaman penyelidikan beliau dalam bidang kristalografi sinar-X protein, khususnya berkaitan pencirian struktur dan biokimia enzim oksidoreduktase termostabil daripada<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><em>Geobacillus mahadii<\/em><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>Geo-05. Perkongsian ini memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai teknik penyediaan protein, pengkristalan protein, pengumpulan data difraksi sinar-X, serta analisis struktur protein dalam penyelidikan biologi struktur. Selain itu, Dr. Nor Asyikin turut berkongsi pengalaman beliau menjalankan penyelidikan di<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">University of Bath, UK<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>dan pengumpulan data difraksi di<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Diamond Light Source<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>synchrotron facility, UK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan perkembangan semasa dalam bidang kristalografi protein serta memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai peluang penyelidikan dan kerjaya dalam bidang bioteknologi protein dan biologi struktur. Webinar ini juga selari dengan hasil pembelajaran kursus SSCG4803 Structural Biology yang menekankan pemahaman teknik penentuan struktur makromolekul dan aplikasi biologi struktur dalam penyelidikan moden.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Sepanjang sesi berlangsung, para pelajar menunjukkan penglibatan aktif melalui sesi soal jawab bersama penceramah.
