The Department of Chemistry offers a range of postgraduate programmes designed to nurture advanced knowledge, research expertise, and professional skills. These programmes include the Master of Science (Chemistry)<\/strong>, Master of Forensic Science<\/strong>, Master of Philosophy (Chemistry)<\/strong>, and Doctor of Philosophy (Chemistry)<\/strong>. Depending on the programme, students may pursue their studies through mixed mode (taught and research)<\/strong> or full research pathways<\/strong>, providing flexibility to match diverse academic and career goals.<\/p>\n

Our postgraduate programmes are closely aligned with the Department\u2019s research strengths, spanning areas such as analytical chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, nanotechnology, forensic analysis, and bioanalytical sciences. Students are encouraged to engage in interdisciplinary projects that address both fundamental and applied scientific challenges, including those relevant to environmental sustainability, food and pharmaceutical industries, and cutting-edge biomedical applications.<\/p>\n

Postgraduate students benefit from access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities<\/strong>, dedicated supervision by experienced academic staff, and opportunities to participate in seminars, workshops, and international conferences. These programmes are either taught & research programmes<\/a><\/strong> i.e. mixed mode or research programmes<\/a><\/strong>.
