Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shafinaz Shahir will leave for an international research attachment at CINDEFI (UNLP; CONICET) at La Plata, Argentina, from 1 March-31 March 2016. She will be working on research related to bioremediation, with the Argentinian counterpart Prof. Dr. Edgardo Donati. The trip is part of UTM Flagship Research Grant (Argentina Armaresco Phase-2, led by Dr Zainul Akmar Zakaria). We wish her all the best in Argentina!
