JOHOR BAHRU, 4 August 2025 – As part of Research Month@FS, the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), successfully conducted the Publication Workshop Series 1, focusing on Scientific Writing and Journal Publishing. The full-day workshop was held at Meeting Room C21, bringing together lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students aiming to improve the quality and impact of their research publications.

Throughout the workshop, participants gained valuable insights on structuring research articles, selecting appropriate journals, avoiding common pitfalls in manuscript writing, and navigating the peer-review process. The session also included interactive discussions, real case studies, and practical tips drawn from the speakers’ publishing experiences.
The workshop is one of several initiatives under the Faculty’s strategic effort to enhance research culture and support academic excellence among its staff and students.
