JOHOR BAHRU, 6 August 2025 – In conjunction with Research Month@FS, the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), hosted an engaging MoU & MoA Sharing Session that brought valuable insights into the university’s collaborative research landscape.
Held virtually via Webex from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the session featured two distinguished speakers:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Firdaus bin Abdul Wahab, and

Prof. Dr. Mohd. Shahir Shamsir Omar.
Both speakers shared their in-depth experiences and best practices in managing Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and Agreements (MoA), offering practical guidance for UTM researchers seeking to engage in impactful national and international collaborations.
This session aimed to strengthen the faculty’s understanding of the strategic importance, structure, and implementation of research partnerships. It also provided a platform for discussing success stories, challenges, and key takeaways from existing MoUs and MoAs.
