Johor Bahru, 21 August 2025 – The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), continued its Research Month@FS series with the Grant Roadshow 2, focusing on the theme “Driving Research Impact through Industry Collaboration and Matching Grants.” The event, held in a hybrid mode at UTM Helix, C17, brought together researchers to explore strategies in securing competitive grants and strengthening industry linkages.

The session featured four experienced speakers: Dr. Raihana Ridzuan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Madihah Md Salleh, Madam Nur Fatimah Marwar, and Prof. Ir. Dr. Haslenda Hashim, who shared their expertise in research funding, proposal development, and collaborative initiatives with industry partners.

Discussions highlighted the importance of matching grants, industry-academia partnerships, and collaborative frameworks as powerful enablers of impactful research. The speakers also shared success stories, best practices, and practical advice on navigating the complexities of research funding while aligning with national priorities and global challenges.

Through this platform, participants gained valuable insights into maximizing research outcomes, enhancing funding competitiveness, and driving innovation through stronger collaborations with industries.
