JOHOR BAHRU, 8 August 2025 – As part of the Faculty of Science’s Research Month 2025, the second installment of the Publication Workshop Series was successfully held at Computer Lab C10, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Themed “Research to Publication: Strategies for Successful Research Papers”, the full-day workshop attracted active participation from academic staff and researchers eager to strengthen their publication capabilities.
A key highlight of the event was the engaging session by Assoc. Prof. ChM. Dr. Lee Siew Ling, who shared practical strategies on navigating the path from research to successful journal publication. Drawing from her extensive experience in scientific writing and peer-reviewed publishing, Dr. Lee guided participants through the nuances of manuscript structure, data presentation, and addressing reviewers’ comments effectively.
Her session was highly praised for its clarity, relevance, and actionable insights, particularly on enhancing the impact and visibility of research work in high-impact journals.
