\ud83d\udcc5 3 September 2025<\/em> JOHOR BAHRU<\/strong> \u2013 As part of the Research Month@FS<\/strong> initiative, the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) conducted the Book Workshop Series 3<\/strong> on 3 September 2025, focusing on Research Book Publication in SpringerBriefs Series<\/em>.<\/p>\n The session, held at UTM Helixs, C17 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, was delivered by Ts. Dr. Suzairi bin Daud<\/strong>, who shared valuable guidance and personal experience in publishing with the SpringerBriefs<\/strong> series\u2014one of the world\u2019s leading platforms for short, high-quality research monographs.<\/p>\n Participants were introduced to the entire publication process<\/strong>, from manuscript preparation, proposal writing, author guidelines, and dealing with editorial feedback to post-publication visibility strategies. Dr. Suzairi emphasized key elements that increase the acceptance potential of research books and highlighted the benefits of publishing in SpringerBriefs, including international exposure, ISBN indexing, and global distribution.<\/p>\n The workshop attracted researchers and academics across disciplines who are interested in expanding their research contributions beyond journal articles and into scholarly books. This initiative supports the Faculty of Science\u2019s broader mission to strengthen research dissemination and academic authorship across multiple platforms.<\/p>\n
