The SUKUM 2017 had just concluded and our UTM chess team performed very well this year.
In total, we brought back 2 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze – the best performance thus far!
Congratulations and a big thank you to all my team mates – Dr. Nasrul, Dr. Haizal, Nazeri, Dr. Nasir, Dr. Tan and Dr. Farabi for their contributions in earning the gold medal for the team!
Congratulations also to the ladies team – Dr. Syafiqah, Dr. Hau, Marlia, Enna, Dr. Rashidah, Pn. Lizawati and Pn. Suriati for their fighting spirits and endurances to win second place in the classical event.
