Johor Bahru, 28 September 2024 – The Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is proud to announce that several of its distinguished researchers have been awarded a total of RM 944,307 under the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) 2024. This achievement highlights the faculty’s continuous commitment to advancing scientific research and knowledge across various disciplines.
The recipients of the prestigious FRGS grants from the Faculty of Science are:

The total grant amount of RM 944,307 will be used to fund fundamental research projects across diverse scientific fields including mathematical sciences, biosciences, chemistry, and physics.
