The Faculty of Science is proud to celebrate Dr. Mohamad Syazwan Mohd Sanusi, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics, for being awarded the Anugerah Penyelidik Muda Cemerlang 2024 (Excellent Young Researcher Award 2024) during the Majlis Penutup Research Year FS 2024.
Dr. Syazwan is an integral member of UTM’s Nuclear and Radiation Physics Research Group, contributing significantly to the advancement of his field. His research spans a wide array of areas, including environmental radioactivity, medical physics and imaging, radiation dosimetry, nuclear safety and security, nuclear waste disposal, and materials science.
He has made notable contributions in securing research grants and publishing in high-impact journals, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in nuclear and radiation physics. His dedication extends beyond research to teaching and mentoring, inspiring the next generation of scientists.
