The Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) celebrates the achievement of Dr. Dzuliana Fatin Jamil and her team from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, who were awarded a Bronze Medal at the New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) 2024. Their project, titled “Mastery Integration Techniques in Engineering Subject: A Practical Approach,” highlights a hands-on method to enhance learning in engineering education.

The team, comprising Dr. Fatin Nadiah Mohamed Yussof, Dr. Noorehan Yaacob, Dr. Norsyahida Zulkifli, and Dr. Suzarina Ahmed Sukri, developed this project to provide engineering students with practical tools and techniques to master complex integration methods. By focusing on applied learning, their approach helps bridge theoretical concepts and real-world engineering challenges, promoting a deeper understanding and retention of knowledge.

NALI 2024, themed “Empowering Teaching and Research Connection through Innovation,” emphasizes creative educational methods that strengthen the link between teaching and impactful research. This recognition aligns with UTM’s vision of “Innovating Solutions” and the Faculty of Science’s mission to nurture great minds prepared to contribute to industry and society.

The Faculty of Science extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Dzuliana Fatin Jamil and her team for their dedication to advancing educational practices and inspiring future engineers.
