Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Faculty of Science Shines at INATEX 2024
The Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has once again demonstrated excellence in innovation and research. Dr. Mira Panadi from the Department of Biosciences has been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the Industrial Art & Technology Exhibition (INATEX) 2024 for her groundbreaking research project titled “Moringapro Pellet: Sustainable Nutrition for Healthy Livestock.”
Dr. Mira Panadi, accompanied by her team member, Dr. Raihana Ridzuan, developed the Moringapro Pellet, which addresses the critical need for sustainable and healthy livestock nutrition. This innovation provides an eco-friendly alternative to traditional livestock feed, contributing to the sustainability of agriculture and the livestock industry.
The INATEX 2024 event, recognized for its platform that showcases innovative projects from academia and industry, highlighted the significance of this research in promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The Moringapro Pellet has not only impressed judges with its innovation but also its potential for large-scale application, aligning with global sustainability goals.
