The Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) successfully hosted an inspiring session under its Science Seminar Series titled “Recharge Revolution: The Next Generation of Batteries” on 14th November 2024 (Thursday) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Nurul Akmaliah Dzulkurnain, CEO of the International Battery Center Sdn. Bhd., captivated the audience with her insights into the future of battery technology. Her talk explored cutting-edge developments in energy storage, addressing the critical role of batteries in powering sustainable solutions for industries, consumers, and renewable energy systems.
This seminar, attended by both academic and support staff, as well as students, provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange on innovative approaches to tackling global energy challenges. Attendance was recorded via the UTMSMILE system for staff and the ACAD system for students, emphasizing the importance of engagement and participation.
Participants had the option to join the session online through the provided meeting link, ensuring accessibility for a broader audience. The session reflected UTM’s commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and collaborative learning within the scientific community.
