This step-by-step guide outlines the process for applying and managing projects under UTSB-FS-TDPIP (VOT 961). Follow the five key stages below for a successful application.


1. Preparation

  • Ensure the project value is more than RM10,000.
  • The Project Leader should prepare the proposal and attach the following documents:
    1. Project approval letter
    2. Project committee appointment letter
    3. Any other relevant supporting documents
  • Use the Project Proposal Template provided.

2. Application

  • Email the proposal and all supporting documents to tdpip.fs@utm.my.
  • The TDPIP office will review the proposal.
  • Upon review, the complete application will be forwarded to UTSB for processing (by TDPIP).

3. Registration

  • TDPIP will send a project registration application letter to UTSB.
  • Once the project is registered, the Project Leader can request UTSB to prepare an invoice through TDPIP.

Deductions:

  • ST: 6%
  • UTSB: 10%
  • Faculty: 5%

4. Execution

  • Payment will be made by the Company/Agency.
  • The project will commence and proceed as planned.

5. Report

  • Prepare a Technical Report once the project is completed.
  • Submit the report in the RADIS system.
  • Email the Technical Report to the Company/Agency.
