On 22 January 2025, the Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) successfully conducted a research tutorial titled “Filling Out IPR in InnoComms Made Easy.” The session, led by Prof. Madya Ts. ChM. Dr. Nik Ahmad Nizam Bin Nik Malek, Deputy Dean of Research, Innovation, and Development, provided invaluable insights into streamlining the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) submission process.
This interactive tutorial focused on key aspects of drafting a “Full Description of Invention” and navigating the InnoComms platform to facilitate smooth patent and copyright submissions. Researchers from various disciplines participated, benefiting from the clear guidance and practical examples provided during the session.
