Johor Bahru, 28 February 2025 – The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) proudly congratulates Ts. ChM. Dr. Faizuan Bin Abdullah from the Department of Chemistry for securing the Technology Implementation Fund (TIF) with a grant amount of RM 80,000.00.
The awarded project, titled “A Coupled Sensors System for Used Cooking Oil Quality Identification,” aims to develop an innovative sensing system for assessing the quality of used cooking oil. This research has significant implications for food safety, public health, and sustainable waste management.

Dr. Faizuan’s project focuses on:
