Pasir Gudang, 27 February 2025 – The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (FS UTM) visited BASF (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Pasir Gudang, Johor, to explore potential collaborations in the fields of chemical sciences, environmental microbiology, sustainability, and industrial innovation.

Led by the Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation, and Development), Assoc. Prof. Ts. ChM. Dr. Nik Ahmad Nizam Nik Malek, the FS UTM delegation engaged in insightful discussions with the BASF team, headed by En. Norazwan Sanusi, Senior Manager, Site Management, PMA Compounding, Pasir Gudang Site. The discussions centered around identifying opportunities for joint research projects, student internships, academic curricula development, and knowledge exchange initiatives.
