Dr. See’s remarkable research focuses on the detection of microplastics in water, food, and environmental samples using solid-state electrophoresis, culminating in the development of a portable, solvent-free diagnostic tool. This innovation is paving the way for low-cost, efficient health monitoring and environmental applications—truly aligning with the spirit of impactful and sustainable science.
In his statement, Dr. See shared that his journey in chemistry was driven by his passion to understand the science behind everyday life. From his undergraduate curiosity to receiving a prestigious Swiss National Science Foundation Fellowship, and later expanding his expertise in Australia, Dr. See’s global exposure and dedication have shaped his impactful contributions to analytical chemistry.
