The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), proudly congratulates Dr. Mohd Rashid Admon for winning the Gold Medal at the Johor International Innovation, Invention Competition and Symposium (JIIIS) 2025.
Dr. Rashid’s award-winning project, titled “Development of Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Numerical Integration with Application,” showcases his innovative approach in enhancing the teaching and learning of numerical methods through a user-friendly software platform. This GUI allows for seamless integration of theoretical concepts with real-world applications, empowering users—especially students and educators—to better understand and visualize numerical integration processes.
The recognition at JIIIS 2025 reflects not only Dr. Rashid’s excellence in research and development but also the Faculty of Science’s continuous commitment to driving impactful innovation aligned with UTM’s mission of advancing knowledge and innovating solutions.
