The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), proudly congratulates Dr. Taufiq Khairi Ahmad Khairuddin on being awarded the Gold Medal at the Johor International Innovation, Invention Competition and Symposium (JIIIS) 2025.
Dr. Taufiq’s winning project, titled “Newton’s Law of Cooling Calculator,” demonstrates a practical and educational tool designed to compute and visualize temperature change over time based on Newton’s Law of Cooling. This innovation enhances understanding of thermodynamic principles and provides users—especially students and educators—with an accessible means of applying theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios.
His success reflects the growing emphasis on interactive learning and digital tools within the field of applied mathematics and science education. The Faculty of Science is proud to support such impactful research and commends Dr. Taufiq for his contribution to academic innovation.
