The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), proudly congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nabilah Kasim from the Department of Physics, together with her multidisciplinary team, for winning the Silver Medal at the New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) 2025.
Their award-winning project, titled “Integrating AI for Smart Hydroponics for STEM Education: Eco-Sight Botanic,” showcases a transformative approach to teaching and learning by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into hydroponic systems. The project empowers students to engage in real-time monitoring and optimization of plant growth, combining environmental awareness with data-driven decision-making in STEM education.
