JOHOR BAHRU, 15 May 2026 – The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), proudly congratulates Assoc. Prof. ChM. Dr. Norahim Ibrahim from the Department of Biosciences for his participation in the Erasmus+ International Staff Week held at Çukurova University, Türkiye, from 4 to 8 May 2026.
The international programme brought together academic staff, researchers, and university representatives from various countries to strengthen global networking, academic collaboration, and knowledge exchange in higher education. Through this initiative, participants were given the opportunity to engage in professional discussions, institutional visits, cultural exchange activities, and collaborative sessions aimed at enhancing internationalization efforts among participating universities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norahim’s participation reflects UTM’s continued commitment towards expanding its global engagement and strengthening international academic partnerships in line with the aspirations of UTM ASCEND 2030. His involvement also highlights the Faculty of Science’s active role in fostering international collaboration, mobility programmes, and research networking opportunities for academic staff.
The Erasmus+ programme is widely recognized for promoting excellence in education, innovation, and intercultural understanding among higher education institutions worldwide. Participation in such programmes provides valuable exposure that can contribute towards future collaborative research, student mobility, and institutional development initiatives between UTM and international partners.
