The Faculty of Science is proud to announce that Dr. Ahmad Qushairi Mohamad, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, has been awarded the Anugerah Penyelidik Muda Cemerlang 2024 (Excellent Young Researcher Award 2024) during the Majlis Penutup Research Year FS 2024.
Dr. Ahmad Qushairi is a key member of the Fluid Mechanics Research Group and the Frontier Materials Research Alliance at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His research interests include applied mathematics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, convection, and computational fluid dynamics.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmad Qushairi has secured multiple research grants, including international and national funding, and has published extensively in indexed journals. His dedication to advancing mathematical sciences and his contributions to the academic community have been instrumental in elevating UTM’s research profile.
