On Tuesday, 14 January 2025, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) successfully organized the “Bengkel Penulisan Proposal FRGS 2025” at Bilik Helixs, C17, Faculty of Science, UTM. The workshop, conducted from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, attracted 27 participants, comprising 22 lecturers and 5 students.

The workshop was spearheaded by Prof. Madya ChM. Dr. Roswanira Abdul Wahab, an experienced evaluator for FRGS proposals under the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT). The program director, ChM. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Shazwan Shah Jamil, and his team ensured the event’s smooth execution.

The day-long event included the following sessions:

  • Session 1: Overview of FRGS Proposal Evaluation Criteria
  • Session 2: Do’s and Don’ts in Proposal Writing
  • Session 3: Hands-On Proposal Writing and Review

The interactive hands-on session, in particular, enabled participants to refine their proposals with direct feedback from the speaker.
