The Science Seminar Series, held on 20 May 2025 at Dewan Senat, Bangunan Canseleri Sultan Ibrahim, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), featured a captivating and insightful talk by Distinguished Prof. Dr. Jerry Heng Yong Yew from Imperial College London.
Titled “Where Powder Properties Meet Molecular Order”, the seminar delved into the intricate world of powder surface behavior and crystal engineering. Prof. Jerry shared his expertise on topics such as wettability, surface chemistry, nucleation, and seeding strategies, demonstrating how fundamental understanding at the molecular level can drive innovation in pharmaceuticals, materials science, and related fields.
