Johor Bahru, 13 November 2025 – The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), continues its commitment to research excellence and scholarly writing through the latest installment of its Siri Klinik Penerbitan (Publishing Clinic Series). The fourth session, titled Penyediaan Akhir dan Penyerahan Manuskrip (Final Preparation and Submission of Manuscripts), was successfully conducted on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at UTM HELIxS, C17.
The session, held from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., featured renowned academician Prof. Madya ChM Dr. Roswanira Abdul Wahab from the Department of Chemistry as the keynote speaker. Drawing from her extensive experience in academic publishing, Dr. Roswanira guided participants through the essential steps of final manuscript formatting, compliance with journal submission requirements, and addressing editorial feedback — critical skills for researchers seeking publication in high-impact journals.
This clinic is part of a structured initiative by the Faculty of Science to equip researchers, especially early-career academics and postgraduate students, with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the publication process efficiently.
Participants also benefitted from interactive discussions and hands-on advice tailored to their ongoing manuscripts. The session concluded with a Q&A segment where attendees engaged actively with the speaker on real challenges they face during manuscript submission.
CPD (Continuous Professional Development) credits were provided for attendees, further affirming the university’s support for ongoing academic growth.
