Innovative Fuzzy Bézier Surface Model Earns Recognition at SIRAC 2024 II
Dr. Mohammad Izat Emir Zulkifly, a distinguished researcher from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s (UTM) Department of Mathematical Sciences, has been awarded the Silver Medal at the Semarak International Research Article Competition (SIRAC) 2024 II. His award-winning article, titled “Biquartic Hesitant Fuzzy Bézier Surface Approximation Model with Its Visualization,” introduces a novel approach to surface approximation modeling, offering new insights in the field of computational mathematics.
Dr. Izat Emir’s research combines biquartic hesitant fuzzy logic with Bézier surface approximation, allowing for more flexible and accurate surface modeling, especially in fields requiring precise computational graphics and visualizations. His innovative work has practical applications in computer-aided design, data interpolation, and other areas where complex surfaces need to be modeled and visualized with high precision.
The recognition of this research at SIRAC 2024 II underscores UTM’s leading role in cutting-edge mathematical research, especially in the development of new models that can transform various technological and industrial applications.
