JOHOR BAHRU, Oct 12 – A final competition on ‘Recycle E-Waste: Innovate Solutions’ was held at the Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano), Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (ISI-SIR), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru. The program involved the participation of five schools around Johor Bahru, namely Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bandar Baru Uda, SMK Tasek Utara 2, SMK Tasek Utara, SMK Dato Abdul Rahman Yassin, and Sekolah Menengah Teknik. Sponsored by the Malaysian National Commission for UNESCO (MNCU) Contribution Grant and Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP)@Faculty, the event was inaugurated by Dr. Roslinda Zainal, Director of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, UTM. Representatives from the UTM Centre for Community and Industry Network (UTM CCIN), UTM Campus Sustainability (UTMCS), and juries comprising UTM researchers and a lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Jasin also attended.
