Skudai, October 22, 2024 – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Faculty of Science held an insightful sharing session with the recipients of the prestigious INATEX, GUCI, and NALI awards. The event, titled Sesi Perkongsian Bersama Penerima Anugerah INATEX, GUCI & NALI, took place at the Al Razi Auditorium, Block T02, bringing together prominent researchers and faculty members to share their experiences and achievements in the fields of research, innovation, and education.
The session, held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, began with the welcoming of participants and opening remarks by a representative from TDPPI. The first speaker, Associate Professor Dr. Nor Azimah Mohd Zain, presented from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, sharing her experiences and contributions that led to her receiving the INATEX award, which celebrates innovation and technology advancements within UTM. Following her presentation, Ir. Ts. Dr. Wan Rosmiza Zana Wan Dagang took the stage from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, where she discussed her award-winning research and industry collaborations that earned her the GUCI award. Lastly, from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM, Dr. Mira Panadi provided valuable insights into her innovative teaching practices that contributed to her recognition with the NALI award.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where participants engaged with the award recipients, followed by a summary and closing remarks. This event reflects UTM’s commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation, as well as promoting collaboration between academia and industry. The sharing session not only celebrated the achievements of these outstanding faculty members but also served as a source of inspiration for the academic community.
