As we come together to celebrate World Science Day for Peace and Development 2024, we are reminded of the transformative power of science in our lives and our world. This year’s theme, “Science Matters \u2013 Engaging Minds and Empowering Futures,” resonates deeply with our vision, mission, and motto here at the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).<\/p>\n

At the Faculty of Science, UTM, our vision is to be a \u201cworld-renowned faculty in the advancement of science and mathematics\u201d. For this, we are committed to leading in the development of holistic talents and knowledge through learning, teaching, research, and innovation for universal well-being. Guided by our motto, “Where great minds are nurtured,” we strive to push the boundaries of scientific discovery and to inspire the next generation of scientists, researchers, and innovators.<\/p>\n

Engaging Minds – By sparking curiosity and nurturing a passion for discovery, we inspire our students and researchers to explore new frontiers. Our innovative teaching methods and collaborative research initiatives foster intellectual growth and scientific exploration.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we are dedicated to fostering STEM education through active engagement with schools and the community.
