The Faculty of Science is proud to celebrate Dr. Mohamad Syazwan Mohd Sanusi<\/strong>, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics, for being awarded the Anugerah Penyelidik Muda Cemerlang 2024 (Excellent Young Researcher Award 2024)<\/strong> during the Majlis Penutup Research Year FS 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Dr. Syazwan is an integral member of UTM\u2019s Nuclear and Radiation Physics Research Group<\/strong>, contributing significantly to the advancement of his field. His research spans a wide array of areas, including environmental radioactivity, medical physics and imaging, radiation dosimetry, nuclear safety and security, nuclear waste disposal, and materials science<\/strong>.<\/p>\n He has made notable contributions in securing research grants and publishing in high-impact journals, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in nuclear and radiation physics<\/strong>. His dedication extends beyond research to teaching and mentoring, inspiring the next generation of scientists.<\/p>\n This award recognizes Dr. Syazwan’s outstanding achievements and his role in advancing UTM\u2019s mission of promoting excellence in research, innovation, and education.
