Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Faculty of Science successfully organized an engaging sharing session titled “Tips and Tricks for FRGS Proposal” to support researchers in crafting compelling proposals for the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS). The session was conducted online via Cisco Webex and attracted participants from various academic disciplines across the country.<\/p>\n
The event featured Prof. Dr. Mohd. Shahir Shamsir Omar<\/strong>, an experienced researcher and grant recipient, who provided invaluable insights into the grant application process. Drawing from his extensive experience, Prof. Dr. Shahir highlighted the key elements of a strong FRGS proposal, including aligning with national research priorities, structuring objectives effectively, and addressing critical gaps in existing research.<\/p>\n Participants were guided through the intricacies of the evaluation criteria and common pitfalls to avoid.
