The Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, UTM, successfully hosted an engagement session with representatives from Biogenes Technologies Sdn Bhd<\/strong> on 19 February 2025<\/strong>. The session, held at the Al-Hazen Meeting Room<\/strong> and accessible online via Webex, aimed to strengthen research and academic collaborations between UTM and Biogenes Tech.<\/p>\n The session was graced by Mr. Tang Kok Mun, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Biogenes Technologies Sdn Bhd<\/strong>, along with researchers and lecturers from the Department of Biosciences<\/strong>. Mr. Tang shared insights into the company\u2019s latest advancements, particularly in the design, development, and commercialization of animal-free aptamers<\/strong> for life science applications.<\/p>\n Biogenes Tech. has a strong history of collaboration with UTM, having provided industrial training opportunities<\/strong> for students and co-supervising Final Year Undergraduate Projects (FYUP)<\/strong>.
