30 May 2025 | Faculty of Science, UTM<\/em><\/p>\n The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) extends its warmest congratulations to Prof. Dr. Nor Haniza Bt. Sarmin<\/strong>, Department of Mathematical Sciences, for being awarded a Travel Grant<\/strong> to attend the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2026<\/strong> in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA<\/strong>, from 23rd to 30th July 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This travel grant is awarded by The Simons Foundation<\/strong>, in collaboration with the International Mathematical Union (IMU)<\/strong> and The Commission for Developing Countries (CDC)<\/strong>. The grant provides support for researchers from developing countries to participate in one of the most prestigious gatherings in the field of mathematics worldwide.<\/p>\n Prof. Dr. Nor Haniza\u2019s selection for this opportunity is a significant recognition of her contributions to mathematical sciences and a proud moment for UTM and Malaysia.
