ChM. Dr. Nik Ahmad Nizam bin Nik Malek<\/strong> (Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science) and <strong data-start=\"324\" data-end=\"371\">Prof. Madya ChM. Dr. Mohd Hayrie Mohd Hatta<\/strong> (Asia Metropolitan University, AMU) who received the <strong data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"497\">Publication Award: Edited Book Award (Science &amp; Technology Category)<\/strong> at <strong data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"563\">Citra Karisma 2025 \u2013 UTM Excellence and Recognition Awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"1195\">The recognition honours their editorial leadership of the 2024 volume <strong data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"682\"><em data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"680\">Nanomaterials for Biomedical Application<\/em><\/strong>, an edited book that consolidates up-to-date, comprehensive insights on nanotechnology for health and modern medical care. Authored by experienced researchers from UTM, AMU and partner institutions, the book spans key themes including nanomaterial design and characterisation, drug delivery, tissue engineering, cancer therapy and medical diagnostics. Each chapter is written by specialists, ensuring scientific rigour while mapping future directions for graphene-, gold- and silver-based biomedical innovations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1220\"><strong data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1218\">About the Editors<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1993\">\n<li data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1656\">\n<p data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1656\"><strong data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1281\">Prof. Madya Ts. ChM. Dr. Nik Ahmad Nizam bin Nik Malek<\/strong> serves as <strong data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1344\">Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation &amp; Development)<\/strong>, Faculty of Science, and <strong data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1457\">Acting Director, Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano), Ibnu Sina Institute<\/strong>. He has authored <strong data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1504\">120+ WoS-indexed articles<\/strong>, nine edited books and 29 book chapters, and was recognised as a <strong data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1617\">Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) 2023<\/strong> by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1993\">\n<p data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1993\"><strong data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1706\">Prof. Madya ChM. Dr. Mohd Hayrie Mohd Hatta<\/strong> is a <strong data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1769\">senior academic at Asia Metropolitan University (AMU)<\/strong> and an active collaborator with UTM in chemistry, nanomaterials and biomedical applications.
