Kuala Lumpur, 20 September 2024<\/b> \u2014 A team from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has been awarded the Silver Medal at the 6th Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo (I-PHEX 2024), held at Residensi UTMKL, Kuala Lumpur. The team, led by Dr N<\/strong>orma Alias<\/b> along with Hamidreza <\/b>Kashefi<\/b>, Asim Khan<\/b>, and Muhammad Iqbal Haikal <\/b>Samia’an<\/b>, earned the accolade for their innovation titled “Nurturing Students’ Mathematical Mind in Engineering Mathematics.”<\/b><\/p>\n Their innovative approach aimed to enhance the mathematical skills of engineering students, focusing on strengthening their analytical abilities and problem-solving competencies through practical and interactive methods.<\/p>\n The award was presented by Dr. <\/b>Syamsul<\/b> Rizal Abd. <\/b>Shukor<\/b>, President of the Society of Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM), and Dr. <\/b>Nurazlina<\/b> Ghazali<\/b>, Director of the Centre for Engineering Education (CEE), UTM.
