9\u201311 September 2025, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis<\/em> \u2014 A team from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), has proudly won the Gold Medal<\/strong> at the 7th International Innovation, Design and Articulation (i-IDeA 2025)<\/strong> competition.<\/p>\n

The winning team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuhaila Ismail<\/strong>, together with Dr. Lim Yeou Jiann<\/strong> and Yong Han Nee<\/strong>, showcased an outstanding innovation that demonstrated the application of mathematical sciences in addressing real-world challenges through creative and analytical design.<\/p>\n

The i-IDeA competition, organized by UiTM Perlis, is an international platform that brings together researchers, educators, and innovators from various disciplines to present impactful projects in innovation, design, and articulation. This recognition marks another milestone for UTM\u2019s Faculty of Science in strengthening its presence in multidisciplinary research and innovation at the international level.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Science management team and staff extend their warmest congratulations<\/strong> to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuhaila and her team for this remarkable achievement, which reflects UTM\u2019s continuous pursuit of excellence in research, creativity, and innovation.<\/p>\n
