Dr. Aemi Syazwani Abdul Keyon<\/strong> from the <strong data-start=\"288\" data-end=\"315\">Department of Chemistry<\/strong> for successfully securing a prestigious research grant from the <strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"435\">Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Research Fund, UK<\/strong> amounting to <strong data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"462\">GBP 5,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"965\">Her awarded project, titled <strong data-start=\"493\" data-end=\"688\">\u201cDevelopment of Surfactant-Enhanced Capillary Electrophoresis-Capacitively Coupled Contactless Conductivity Detection Method for the Analysis of Microplastics in Environmental Water Samples,\u201d<\/strong> will run from <strong data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"739\">September 2025 to September 2026<\/strong>. This project addresses the growing global concern of microplastic pollution in aquatic environments and aims to develop an advanced, sensitive analytical method for their detection using capillary electrophoresis technology.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"967\" data-end=\"1246\">This grant underscores the global recognition of UTM researchers in tackling environmental challenges through analytical chemistry innovation. It also highlights the Faculty of Science\u2019s commitment to advancing research in sustainability, water quality, and pollution monitoring.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1447\">The Faculty of Science extends its warmest congratulations to Assoc.
