Prof. Dr. Nabilah Kasim<\/strong> from the <strong data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"401\">Department of Physics<\/strong>, together with her multidisciplinary team, for winning the <strong data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"477\">Silver Medal<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"533\">New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"1019\">Their award-winning project, titled <strong data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"655\">\u201cIntegrating AI for Smart Hydroponics for STEM Education: Eco-Sight Botanic,\u201d<\/strong> showcases a transformative approach to teaching and learning by integrating <strong data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"764\">artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"797\">Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong> technologies into hydroponic systems. The project empowers students to engage in real-time monitoring and optimization of plant growth, combining environmental awareness with data-driven decision-making in STEM education.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1050\">The project team comprises:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1556\">\n<li data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1149\">\n<p data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1149\"><strong data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1087\">Assoc. Ikhwan Hakim Abd Samat<\/strong> (Faculty of Electrical Engineering \u2013 FCEE)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1476\">\n<p data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1476\"><strong data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1468\">En. Muhammad Daniel Mohd Zulkepli<\/strong> (FKE)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1519\">\n<p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1519\"><strong data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1511\">En. Mohd Hafiq bin Abu Bakar<\/strong> (FKE)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1556\">\n<p data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1556\"><strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1548\">En. Joshu Leonardy Lie<\/strong> (FKE)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1926\">This innovative educational tool, known as <strong data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1622\">Eco-Sight Botanic<\/strong>, enables the integration of <strong data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1692\">AI and IoT in sustainable agriculture<\/strong>, encouraging students to develop digital skills while understanding the principles of smart farming.
