The Faculty of Science is proud to congratulate AP. Dr. Norahim Bin Ibrahim for his outstanding performance in receiving the Bronze Medal in the GUCI 2024 Exhibition Awards. This award was given to him in recognition of his poster presentation \u201cPromoting Best Organic Waste Recycling Habits in the Local Community through Urban Agriculture Activities in Flat Jentayu\u201d<\/p>\n
During the Synergistic Government-University-Community-Industry (GUCI) Seminar 2024 held on September 23-24 at Sunway Hotel Big Box, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, numerous innovative and impactful projects that promote sustainable collaboration between key sectors were showcased.<\/p>\n
Dr. Norahim’s project highlights the importance of recycling organic waste and incorporating it into local urban agriculture. The project focuses on community engagement and shows how city dwellers can contribute to sustainable agricultural practices while reducing waste.<\/p>\n
The Faculty of Science commends Dr. Norahim for his dedication and innovative approach to sustainability and we look forward to more of his future contributions to impactful research and community-oriented solutions.<\/p>\n
